Before

Every measurement drawing went through a 44-step checklist: clean up the drawing, split at the seams, add radii, sinks and reinforcing rods, pick layers by material and edge profile, number the parts, mirror them for the CNC, export. One missed step meant a wrong cut in expensive stone.

What we built

  • Automatic import and clean-up of the measurement drawing
  • Contour and seam detection, with the counter split into parts
  • Sinks, cooktops and faucet holes detected or picked from a manufacturer library
  • Radii, tool offsets and layers applied by the shop’s rules, editable in Excel
  • One numbered DXF file per part, sent to CNC scheduling and the saws, even for a whole folder

Results

  • A 44-step manual routine automated
  • Production files straight from the drawing
  • Shop rules applied every time
  • 3 years of evolution, more than 35 releases
